Raven's Crest was founded in 283ARS.  This broad valley is nested in the only known pass between the North and South sides of the island Arcanum and accessable by only two narrow roads, Raven's Crest makes an ideal fortress.  Raven's Crest also functions as a supply depot for many of the northern towns and villages, along with all of the southern part of the Arcanum island.

Districts

The Hollows:  The Hollows are a series of massive storehouses built into the eastern side of the valley.  

Marketplace:  The Marketplace dominates this broad valley.  With supply caravans arriving every day, and villages from across the island coming here to seek goods, this marketplace is a hive of activity from sunup to sundown.

Traveler's District:  The Traveler's District makes up the majority of the  housing in Raven's Crest.  While the permanent population resides here, much of this district is greared towards catering to the individuals passing through the city.

Raven's Gate

The Raven's Gate is the black stone gate at the northern end of Raven's Crest.  The road coming into Raven's Crest from the north is wide enough for two carts to travel side by side.  Both sides of this road are inclosed by steep cliffs.

Aarn Poth:  Male Human.  Aarn enjoys his job as Guardsman at the Raven's Gate.  He has a friendly, yet curious nature that makes him seem nosey at times.

Raven's Nest

The Raven's Nest is a seedy inn and tavern just north of the Raven's Perch gate, in the Traveler's District.  Known for its cheap rooms and watered down beer.

Balor Corch:  Male, Human.  Balor is a dirty man with an eye for travler's purses.  His crooked nose and broken teeth are testiment to his past transgressions.  While Balor is a coward at heart, he is more than happy to cut the purse of any unwary traveler.
Lorane Burrmul:  Female Dwarf.  A stout, dirty minded woman with loose morals and a tendancy to spread rumors.  She works as a barmaid in the Raven's Nest.

Raven's Perch

The Raven's Perch is a white stone gate at the southern end of Raven's Crest.  The road coming into Raven's Crest from the south is only wide enough for a single cart at one time.  This trecherous, narrow road switchbacks down a steep cliff for nearly a mile before leveling out into a wider road at its base.
