Sorcerer Bloodline: Mystical

As with the Arcane bloodline your family has always been skilled in the eldritch arts but instead of manifesting extra powers feats and skills your magic grows at a faster rate unlocking additional spells of higher potency more quickly than other sorcerers.

Effect: Mystical bloodline sorcerers gain the familiar bond (like a wizard) but not the Arcane Bond with an object and start on the spells known and spells per day chart at level: 2. They do not gain any additional caster levels they just use the charts at onel lvl higher. They do not gain bloodline arcana, powers, feats or a bloodline skill.

Author's Note: After reading both Wizard and Sorcerer even back at 3rd Edition and 3.5 I found myself constantly passing over the sorcerer for the much more versatile wizard. Funny thing is that sorcerers are supposed to be the ones that are more versatile with spontaneous casting but their slower progression in spell levels and major limits on spells known made them underdogs. Now with all the "extra" powers that both wizards and sorcerers get here was a chance to even things up. But again it seems(at least to me) that sorcerers still get the short end of the stick. This bloodline is my attempt to cut away the "fat" from the class allowing sorcerers to match wizards in power and exceed them spell for spell on a daily basis. Some might think this makes sorcerers too powerful but with the limited spell selection and loss of the bloodline powers/spells/feats I think this is a fun and balanced option over the classic wizards or the "mutated" sorcerers we see now in Pathfinder.
