Inquisitor Archetype: Agent
The best way to kill an infestation is to destroy the nest. Agents do what is needed to acomplish that task. They curry favor, gain trust, lie, cheat, and kill to get close enough to do damage to the foes of their faith. Agents like those blows to be crippling and deadly. They have a dirty job, but the BELIEVE in it.
Class Features Modifications
Class Skills: Acrobatics (Dex), Bluff (Cha), Craft (Int), Climb (Str), Diplomacy (Cha), Disguise (Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (Arcana) (Int), Knowledge (Local) (Int), Knowledge (Geography) (Int), Knowledge (History) (Int), Knowledge (Nobility) (Int), Knowledge (Religion) (Int), Linguistics (Int), Perception (Wis), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Spellcraft (Int), Stealth (Dex) and Use Magic Device (Cha). This Replaces the Inquisitor's base Skills.
Weapon and Armor Proficiencies: Agents are proficient with simple weapons, hand crossbows, the weapon of their deity and light armor. They also get Caught off Gaurd as a bonus feat at 1st level.
This replaces the Inquisitor weapon and armor proficiencies.
Canny Deciet: Agents recieve their Wisdom bonus( if any) to Bluff, Disguise, Linguistics, Knowledge (Local, History, Nobility, and Religion), and Feinting Combat Manuevers.
This Replaces Monster Lore of the Inquisitor class features.
Guile: Agents recieve a bonus of 1/2 their level (minimum 1) to Acrobatics and Perception Checks.
This replaces Stern Gaze as a class feature.
Sneak Attack: At 2nd level, and every 4 levels thereafter, an Agent gains a sneak attack die as if they were a rogue.
This replaces the Track class feature.
Roguish Technique: At 3rd level and every three levels after, the Agent gains access to a rogue talent as if he/she were a rogue of equal level. The agent must meet all the prereqs. for the talent as if the Agent were a Rogue. The Agent recieves Dirty Trick as a bonus feat.
This replaces Solo Tactics and the Teamwork feat class features.
Cunning Reflexes: At 5th level the Agent adds their wisdom bonus to reflex saves and gains Uncanny Dodge, as per the Rogue Ability, as a class feature. At 12th level the Agent gains Evasion, as per the Rogue ability.
This replaces the Inquisitor class features Bane and Greater Bane.
Author's Note: Part James Bond and with a dash of Temple Raider. Inquisitors aren't pushovers, so I took away the shields medium armor, and bane. A potential 5d6 sneak attack and spells already make up for that anyhow. The theme really is to be an agent of the church...likely the most zealous and skilled Inquisitors take up this mantle. Though inquisitors are likely accepting of the gray areas they work in the service of their god, Agents are akin to a divine Monteblanc.
