Rogue Talents

Rogue looking a little too "meh" for you? Pick up these new Rogue Talents.

Backstab (Ex)*: A rogue can sneak attack a creature on her own if she manages to maneuver around a target and strike during her action. If a rogue moves to the opposite side of her target she treats the square she moved from as a ally for purposes of flanking. If she is considered to be flanking with the square she started from she can sneak attack the target, but does not gain the +2 to hit from flanking. In essence, she quickly moves around her opponent and slashes at him from behind, making it difficult for him to defend against her strike. This talent can only be used once per opponent.

Hampering Attack* (Ex): You attack your opponent’s arms or legs, leaving him with an injury that makes it hard for him to defend himself. An opponent damaged by the rogue\'s sneak attack takes a penalty to his armor class equal to the rogue\'s sneak attack (e.g., 4d6 equals a -4 to AC) for 1 round.

Hamstring* (Ex): You slice at your opponent’s legs, leaving him with an injury that makes it hard to move. An opponent damaged by the rogue\'s sneak attack takes a penalty to his movement with each point equal to a 5-foot penalty to speed (e.g., 4d6 equals a 20ft penalty to speed) for 1 round.

Hindering Attack* (Ex): You slice at an opponent’s arms or legs, leaving him with an injury that makes it difficult for him to attack effectively. An opponent damaged by the rogue\'s sneak attack takes a penalty to his attack rolls equal to the rogue\'s sneak attack (e.g., 4d6 equals a -4 to hit) for 1 round.

Lucky (Ex): A rogue with this talent gains an extra use of his luck feats. Luck feats are found in Complete Scoundrel page 72.

Quick Turn (Ex): With a DC15 Acrobatics check a rogue can make one 90 degree turn during a run.

Razor Fiend: When using daggers a rogue is treated as having the Quick Draw feat.

Skill Trick: A rogue may immediately learn one Skill Trick at no cost, and your limit on skill tricks known increases by one. You must still meet all prerequisites for the trick. Skill Tricks are located in Complete Scoundrel.
