Barbarian Rage Powers: Accursed Rage

New barbarian rage powers based on cursed ancestry!

Accursed Anger, Lesser (Su): Once per rage, you channel the restless spirits of your damned ancestors, unleashing their wrath upon those that wronged them. As a swift action the Barbarian can cause her melee attacks to deal an additional 1d6 negative energy damage for 1 round. She gains a number of temporary hit points equal to the negative energy damage dealt. You must be at least 4th level to select this rage power.

Accursed Anger (Su): While raging, all of the barbarian's melee attacks deal an additional 1d6 points of negative energy damage. A barbarian must have the Lesser Accursed Anger power and be at least 8th level before selecting this power. You do not ordinarily gain temporary hit points from these attacks, but if you used Lesser Accursed Anger all rage powers grant temporary hit points equal to their negative energy damage dealt.

Accursed Anger, Greater (Su): While ragomg, all of the barbarian's critical hits made with melee weapons deal an additional 1d10 points of negative energy damage (2d10 for x3, and 3d10 for x4). You must be at least 12th level to select this rage power. You do not ordinarily gain temporary hit points from these attacks, but if you used Lesser Accursed Anger all rage powers grant temporary hit points equal to their negative energy damage dealt.

Author's Note: Compare Elemental Rage powers (APG). We made these powers because the elemental rage powers are about the right power level, but the "cool-factor" just was not there. We introduced the "once per rage vampiric touch from all negative damage" element to these powers replace the utility of being able to switch elements (and thereby match the vulnerabilities of monsters).
