Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Blademaster is proficient with all Slashing weapons from every category and with light armor, medium armor, and shields (except tower shields).
Way of the Sword (Ex): A Blademaster adds 2 x her Dex Modifier instead of just her Dex Modifier to her AC while wielding two weapons. Also the Blademaster gains an additional +1 to AC at every 4th Level with a maximum of +5 at level 20. In addition they gain Two Weapon Fighting as a Bonus Feat. This ability counts as the Two Weapon Defense Feat, the Blademaster cannot gain the feat
Back Against the Wall (Ex): Starting at 2nd Level while the Blademaster is surrounded by 3 or more enemies she gains +1 Morale Bonus to Attack rolls, CMD, and Armor Class, she also gains an additional +1 Bonus for every additional enemy surrounding the Blademaster (Maximum Bonus of +5 to Attack, CMD, and AC). In addition whenever the Blademaster is denied her Dex Bonus to AC she gains +5 to Escape Artist Checks.
Parry (Ex): Starting at 3rd level while using two weapons a Blademaster can declare a parry when a foe attacks her (she must declare this when the enemy declares their intent to attack the Blademaster, before they roll their to-hit). The Blademaster then Attempts to make a Reflex Save with the DC being the attacker’s to-hit roll. If the Blademaster succeeds the roll the attack misses and does no damage, if the Blademaster fails the Parry she still takes only half damage (Reduced to zero if the character has Evasion). A Blademaster can use this ability once per combat encounter at 3rd level. The Blademaster gains an additional use of parry at every 3rd Level beyond Level 3 (2 at Level 6, 3 at Level 9 up to a max of 5 uses at level 15).
Sword Dance (Ex): Starting at 4th Level the Blademaster may perform the Dance of the Sword, a form of meditation in order to generate Ki at the rate of 1 Per 5 min. The dance can only be used while the Blademaster doesn’t feel threatened and is a mental state of calm.
Ki Pool (Su): Starting at 4th Level the Blademaster gains Ki equal to 2 Plus their wisdom modifier. The Blademaster uses Ki to perform feats of great skill. A Blademaster’s Ki Pool doesn’t regenerate every day, in order to regain their spent Ki they must perform a Sword Dance. At 10th Level the Blademaster enlarges her Ki Pool gaining an additional 2 Ki Points + her Wisdom Modifier. At level 10 a Blademaster’s Ki pool is 4 + 2x her wisdom mod.
Combat Experience (Ex): At 6th level a Blademaster has developed skills through the rigor of combat. The Blademaster selects one of the following feats. They get another feat at 9th level, 12th level, 15th level, and 18th level. The Blademaster must meet all feat prerequisites to select the feat.
Combat Experience FeatsEvasion (Ex),Improved Evasion (Ex),Bleeding Attack (Ex), Surprise Attack (Ex), Weapon Focus (Bonus Feat), Quick Draw (Bonus Feat),Dodge (Bonus Feat),Improved Initiative (Bonus Feat), Mobility (Bonus Feat)
Blade Flurry (Ex): Starting at 6th level a Blademaster has gained an understanding of Two Weapon Fighting. By spending 1 Ki the Blademaster can make one extra attack in a full-round attack at her highest BAB, but she takes a -3 for all of her attacks.
Silent Blade (Ex): Starting at Level 8 the Blademaster has learned to strike without notice. As long as the Blademaster has 1 Ki in her Ki Pool, if you use a Slashing weapon to hit a flat-footed opponent from stealth, you can choose to have the opponent not realize that it has been hit until the start of your next turn. You then can roll a Stealth check with a -5 penalty and an additional -5 penalty for each attack beyond the first to remain in stealth. If you fail that check that opponent reacts as if you had attacked and missed. This attempt must be declared before making the attack. This ability doesn’t allow the opponent to ignore any of the other effects of your attack, such as ability damage from poison on your blade or falling unconscious when reduced to fewer than 0 hit points. If you fail the stealth check or choose not to roll one this attack provokes an attack of opportunity from any enemies nearby except the one attacked.
Blade of Light (Sp): At 10th level a Blademaster can concentrate her Ki and fire a concentrated energy blast from the tip of her blade in the shape of a crescent moon. This attack deals 2d6 damage +1 damage per Blademaster level. This attack improves at 14th Level, 17th Level and 20th Level. (3d6 at 14th Level, 4d6 at 17th Level, 5d6 at 20th Level)
Improved Blade Flurry (Ex): Starting at 11th Level a Blademaster has gained a greater understanding of fighting with Two Weapons. By spending 1 Ki the Blademaster can make two extra attacks at her highest base attack bonus as part of a full-round attack at 13th level with a -4 to all attacks.
Supreme Blade Flurry (Ex): Starting at 16th Level a Blademaster has perfected fighting with Two Weapons. By spending 1 Ki the Blademaster can make three extra attacks at her highest BAB as part of a full-round attack with a -5 penalty to all her attacks.
Bonded Weapons (Su): At 18th Level the Blademaster gains a pair of Bonded Weapons. Either the Blademaster or a weaponsmith (with the participation of the Blademaster) forges two different weapons. After the forging is complete the weapons are named and the Blademaster is bonded to the weapons. The Blademaster can call them 3 times per day as if she had cast Teleport Object with her Blademaster level as the caster level. Bonded Weapons are Magical Weapons and as such gain special Qualities; each weapon may gain a different quality, In addition to the chosen qualities, both weapons have Light generation.
Bonded Weapon Qualities
Dancing, Defending, Flaming, Frost, Holy, Shock, Speed
Bladestorm (Ex): At 20th Level the Blademaster gains the ability to attack all enemies within 15 Feet. By spending 5 Ki, once per day as a Full Round Action the Blademaster may make 2 attacks against all enemies within 15 Feet of where the Blademaster is standing at her highest base attack bonus with a -6 Penalty to hit. After using Bladestorm the Blademaster is exhausted for 1d2 +2 rounds.
Ex-Blademasters
If a Blademaster changes alignment from good or neutral to evil she retains all skills and abilities gained up to that point but will not be able to gain any more levels in the Blademaster class, in addition she will be shunned and maybe even attacked by other Blademasters until she atones for her transgressions.
