Prerequisites
Ability to cast spells with the [Fire] descriptor
Benefit
When casting a spell with the [Fire] descriptor that deals hit point damage, your targets must make a Reflex save (DC equal to the spell's DC) or catch on fire (dealing 1d6 damage per round until the flames are extinguished). The spell must successfully deal damage in order to have this effect. A Burning Spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell's actual level.
Normal
Most [Fire] damage spells deal instantaneous fire damage that does not threaten to ignite the target.
