Ascetic Mastery

You have attained a more advanced and transcendent ability to merge your intense martial training with other styles.

Prerequisites
Ascetic Training, Maneuver Training class feature

Benefit
Choose a base class for which you have the Ascetic Training feat. You may add this class to your Monk level for determining your CMB through the Maneuver Training class feature. In addition, you gain the benefits of the Ki Pool class feature as if you were a Monk of a level equal to the chosen class plus your Monk levels. For instance, a Monk 3/Fighter 7 with the Ascetic Training (Fighter) and Ascetic Mastery (Fighter) feats can perform a Ki Strike that treats his unarmed attacks as lawful and magic, and has a Ki Pool of 5 points + his Wisdom modifier. You do not gain the benefit of any other class features that use Ki Points - such as High Jump or Wholeness of Body - unless you gain them normally through your Monk levels.

Finally, chose one type of weapon that this base class grants proficiency in; you may treat weapons of this type as a special Monk weapon when using the Flurry of Blows class feature. Once you have chosen this weapon type, you cannot change it.

Special
You may take this feat multiple times.  You do not apply the benefits of this feat to additional classes.  Instead, each time you take this feat after the first, chose an additional weapon type that you are granted proficiency in from the class you chose for Ascetic Mastery.  You may treat weapons of this type as a special Monk weapon when using the Flurry of Blows class feature.

Author's Note: There are enough feats in various 3.5 books that allow you to Flurry of Blows with extra weapons that this feat mostly just serves as a convenience.  The benefits that this grants to multi-classed characters should be balanced out by the fact that at least two generic feat slots are consumed to gain these benefits, and also by the usual disadvantages of multi-classing.
