Farhad Vondalsen was known throughout the land for his spear work, ever since he killed the orc king with a single, devastating strike.

Aura: moderate transmutation; CL 10th
Slot: 1 or 2 hand (see below); Price: 32,000 gp; Weight: varies (see below).

Farhad's Spear can be either a keen +2 longspear or a keen +2 spear.  It changes from one to the other as a swift action, requiring a command word.  This allows the wielder to threaten 10 feet away, take an attack of opportunity as the enemy closes, and still have a weapon that can be used against the adjacent enemy.

Requirements: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, keen edge; Cost: 16,000 gp.
