He adjusted the ring on his right hand, taking one last glance out the window. It was time to see if the magic worked as he was told. Although he didn't need to, he took a deep breath before stepping outside. It was his first time in the sun for over 200 years.

The wearer of this ring is granted the ability to ignore light blindness, light sensitivity, or vulnerability to sunlight. The wearer of the ring is kept within a thin shadowing. The wearer is also granted a +2 bonus on saving throws against nonmagical hazards related to bright light, such as glare or sunburn.

Requirements: Forge Ring, Protective Penumbra; Cost: 9,000 gp.

Author's Note: I specifically made this after finding the spell in order to justify how a vampire NPC (diplomat) had met with the characters during the day. The shadow affect can be easily concealed with a cloak and hood.
