The Sword of Truth

"Sword of Truth fly swift and sure, That Evil die and Good endure!"

A mysterious weapon of fey origin, it is bestowed to heroes only when in the direst of times. It can be summoned only by powerful good fairies and can only be wielded by warriors of good alignment.

The Sword of Truth is a +4 keen holy cold iron longsword of throwing. Whenever the spell "true strike" is cast upon it and is then thrown, it gains the bane property for whatever it is being thrown at and ignores any DR the target might have, and casts "slay living" on the target at a caster level of 17.

Once the Sword of Truth is used to slay a single target, it turns into a nonmagical +1 longsword.
