These magically crafted mirrors reflect images so sharply that even spells are reflected back.
Mirror of Reflecting, Lesser
Aura: faint abjuration CL: 8th
Slot: None; Price: 15,000gp Weight: 10lbs
If the owner of this mirror takes a readied action during his turn, he can, at any point until his next turn, as an immediate action, pull out the mirror to attempt and reflect a line, ray, or magic missile, (but not cone) targeting him, or the mirror specifically, back upon it's caster. There is a 50% chance the spell is bounced off and hit's the caster, dealing full damage, (though saving throws and spell resistance still apply) otherwise the spell effects the mirror's owner as normal. The mirror can attempt to reflect a spell of 3rd or lower level 1/day, and whether or not that attempt is successful that charge is still used for that day. If the mirror is used to deflect a magic missile spell or any spell that fires more than one missile, bolt, etc that targets the mirror's owner, roll for each missile but still count the entire spell as only using the mirror's one charge. Also, if the spell reflected would hit multiple opponents, such as a scorching ray spell or a divided magic missile spell, those bolts, rays, or missiles affect their targets without mirrors normally, the mirror only reflects a part of a spell, it doesn't dispel it. Finally, if the mirror still has it's charge unused that day and is the subject of a break spell, the charge can be used as an immediate action to save it. This must be done before the fortitude save for the mirror is rolled.
Requirements: Craft wondrous items, Globe of invulnerability, lesser, 7,500gp.
Mirror of Reflecting
Aura: moderate abjuration CL: 13th
Slot: None; Price: 75,000gp Weight: 10lbs
As Mirror of reflecting, lesser, however the mirror can affect spells of 6th level or lower, and has two uses per day. in addition, as a part of the owner's readied action, he can choose to use either one charge to have a 50% chance of reflection, or use both charges to have a 75% chance of reflection, once this decision is made it cannot be changed.
Requirements: Craft wondrous items, Globe of invulnerability, 37,500gp.
Mirror of Perfect Reflecting
Aura: Strong abjuration CL: 18th
Slot: None; Price: 150,000gp Weight: 10lbs
As Mirror of reflecting, but with three charges, can affect spells of any level, and can reflect even cones. The owner can also spend all three charges in order to guarantee success of the reflection. (When reflecting cones, anyone else besides the mirror's owner who would be affected by the cone is affected normally, also, the reflected cone spell functions identically in damage and size, the cone's effect originating from the mirror itself, if the owner of the mirror finds this would do more harm than good, the damage of the spell can simply be dealt directly to the original caster, and only the original caster.)
Requirements: Craft wondrous items, Protection from spells, spell turning, 75,000gp
All mirror's of reflecting are approximately one by one foot, have a hardness of 1 and 5 hp, will not function if they have the broken condition, and have borders made of silver that are typically adorned with depictions of the Tarrasque. It's presumed that an even more powerful mirror of reflecting could be made if created using scales of the Tarrasque, however no-one has ever acquired such a reagent, and if they did the mirror created would be so powerful as to rival even some major artifacts.
Author's Note: In the interest of fairness, a player may choose not to tell the DM the intend of his readied action, so as not to affect the DM's decisions for his who is the target of a spell. Some DMs may even want to get rid of the need for a readied action to use the mirror altogether, however for the sake of balance, this is not recommended. Also optional is whether or not a charge is used up even if a spell isn't reflected that round, some DM's may have the charge used up, other's may simply require another readied action.
