"That's a nice spell." said the wizard observing the bard wearing Spurs of the Cavalier. "I've got one with a little more style!"


Aura: strong conjuration; CL 14th
Slot feet (does not work if attached to magic boots); Price: 84,000 gp; Weight 2 lbs.

These spurs, when clicked together, cause a phantom steed to appear. Only the wearer of the spurs can ride the steed. The Steed has an AC of 18 and 21 hit points. If it loses all its hit points, the phantom steed disappears. However, another can be summoned as a standard action. The steed has both a run and fly speed of 100 feet. It can bear its rider's weight (including worn equipment) plus up to 140 additional pounds. In all respects, the steed behaves like a Phantom Steed (per the spell). The saddle built into it functions as a military saddle.
