Class Features

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The dragonpriest gains no proficiency with any weapons or armor.

Channel Energy (Su): The dragonpriest’s class level stacks with levels in any other class that grants the channel energy ability.

Channel Breath (Su): A number of times per day equal to your charisma modifier, you can spend a daily use of your channel energy to use emulate the breath weapon of your dragon icon. You must wait 1d4 rounds between each use, just like a true dragon.

Your breath weapon deals damage equal to your channel energy ability. Those affected are allowed a reflex save for half damage (DC equal to channel energy save DC).

Dragon Icon: You must choose a dragon icon from among the true dragons. You must choose a dragon whose alignment is within one step of yours, as described in the following table. This determines the effect of your channel breath ability and which form you may take with your Iconic spells (as noted below). Once this choice is made, it cannot be changed.

Iconic Spell: At 3rd level, you add Form of the Dragon II to your class’s spell list as a 7th level spell. If you prepare spells, you can prepare this spell normally. If you spontaneously cast spells, you must choose to learn this spell before you can use it.

At 5th level, you add Form of the Dragon III to your class’s spell list as a 9th level spell. If you prepare spells, you can prepare this spell normally. If you spontaneously cast spells, you must choose to learn this spell before you can use it.

In either case, you can only take on the form of your dragon icon with these spells.
