Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Doomguide gains proficiency with Heavy Armor.
Spellcasting: A Doomguide gains spells as if he had advanced in a level of a divine casting class he belonged to prior to becoming a Doomguide at the levels indicated. This does not have to be (though it usually is) the class that was used to meet the prerequisites for the class, but the Doomguide must be able to cast Lv. 1 spells with that class.
Channel Energy: At the noted levels, a Doomguide's channel energy increases by 1d6. His Doomguide level stacks with the levels of a class from which he got channel energy before becoming a Doomguide to determine save DCs.
Bond of Fatal Touch: The Doomguide's weapon is bound to his deity's, and he may activate the power of this bond. Activating this ability is a free action, and the effect lasts for one round. The effects depend on your Doomguide level. At 1st level the bond grants a wielded bastard sword the ghost touch property. At 5th level it gains both ghost touch and undead bane properties. At 9th level it gains the ghost touch, undead bane and disruption properties in spite of it not being a bludgeoning weapon. The weapon's normal abilities still applies. This ability may be used a number of times per day equal to your Charisma Modifier.
Bonus Feats: At 2nd, 6th and 10th levels, a Doomguide gains a bonus feat. These feats may be any Channeling Feats.
Death's Servant: At 4th level, Doomguides get a +4 bonus to saving throws against death effects and to overcome a negative level. At 8th level, a Doomguide gets +8 bonus to saving throws against death and automatically passes all saving throws to overcome a negative level.
Divine Vengeance: At 7th level, a Doomguide may expend a use of Channel Energy as a free action to add the damage on to a melee combat attack. If your energy type is positive, the damage is holy damage, if your energy type is negative, the damage is unholy damage. This may not be used in conjunction with Channel Smiting. The damage inflicts harm regardless of creature type.
Judgement's Servant: At 10th level, a Doomguide gains complete immunity to energy drain and death effects. Furthermore, allies within 10 feet of him gain a +4 bonus on saving throws against death effects and
on saving throws to overcome a negative level.
Once per day, the Doomguide may cast a spell of the [law] subtype, with a casting time of one standard or less, as part of any attack action, without incurring attacks of opportunity. The target must be either himself or the subject of one of his attacks. If the target is himself, the spell is cast before any attacks are made, if it is an enemy it is cast when the first attack that targets that enemy is made. Spells with multiple targets may also affect any other targets as normal, and area of effect spells are centred on the specified target.
