Reliquist

A Reliquist takes the passion and discipline they have for their chosen deity and infuses it within the items they craft.  They have always had a knack for crafting and as time goes on that knack grows into a way of life.  All Reliquists have the same goal, to craft the relics for their patron deity so that they may show their true devotion and skill.

The Reliquist is a support class that can also go on the offensive or defensive pending on spells memorized and chosen magic items.  They can (with time) outfit their party with the items born from their devotion and pocket book.

Class Features

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Reliquists gain proficiency with light, medium, and heavy armor as well as shields (except tower shields). Reliquists also gain proficiency in the weapon of their deity if they did not have it before.

Spells: When a new level is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if he had also gained a level in any one spellcasting class he belonged to before he added the prestige class. He does not, however, gain other benefit its a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that he adds the level of reliquist to the level of whatever other spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day, spells known, and caster level accordingly. If a character had more than one spellcasting class class before he became a reliquist, he must decide to which class he adds each level of reliquist for the purpose of determining spells per day.

Artifice Domain: Reliquists gain the Artifice Domain (treat levels of Reliquist as Cleric levels for Domain Powers, gain Domain spells in addition to existing Domain spell slots).

Divine Aptitude (Ex): At 2nd level the Reliquist adds their Reliquist Level to their use magic device checks.

Divine Savant (Sp): At 3rd level the Reliqusit gains Identify as a constant spell like ability for the purpose of Identifying Divine Magic items.

Divine Aptitude (Ex): At 4th level the Reliquist adds their Reliquist Level to their spellcraft checks.

Divine Empowerment (Su): At 6th level, spells cast from Magic Items crafted by the Reliquist are treated as Empowered as per the metamagic feat.

Divine Materials (Ex): At 8th level, a Reliquist need only pay 25% of the base cost for creating a magic item or crafting a potion or scroll.

Devout Craftsman (Ex): At 10th level the Reliquist gains the divine ability to craft Relics of their patron Deity.
