Genie-kin

One of your ancestors consorted with genie somewhere in time. Though the genie blood has thinned over the generations, you still posses attributes that harken back to the powers of the inner elemental planes.

Genie-kin Racial Traits

+2 to One Ability Score: Though the blood of Genies still flow through their veins, they are still mostly human, and as such, share their adaptability.

Medium Size: Genie-Kin are Medium creatures, and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.

Normal Speed: Genie-Kin have a base land speed of 30 ft.

Genie Bloodline: Genie-Kin are descended from one particular type of Genie. At character creation you must select one type of Genie from the following list: Djinni, Efreeti, Marid, Shaitan

Darkvision: Genie-Kin can see in the dark to a range of 60 ft.

Weapon Familiarity: Genie-Kin are born to wield the weapons of their ancestors. The grip of scimitars and falchions feels natural to all Genie-Kin and they are proficient with them.

Genie Resistances: Genie-Kin form a small resistance to the forces of the elemental planes their ancestor Genie comes from:
Djinni: Your affinity with the elemental Plane of Air manifests as Resist electricity 5.
Efreeti: Your affinity with the elemental Plane of Fire manifests as Resist fire 5.
Marid: Your affinity with the elemental Plane of Water manifests as Resist frost 5.
Shaitan: Your affinity with the elemental Plane of Earth manifests as Resist acid 5.

Genie Affinity: All Genie-Kin feel the calling of their ancestors and their personality and skills tend to reflect their heritage. This manifests differently depending on their ancestor Genie:
Djinni: +2 racial bonus to Fly and Sense Motive.
Efreeti: +2 racial bonus to Bluff and Slight of Hand.
Marid: +2 racial bonus to Swim and Diplomacy.
Shaitan: +2 racial bonus to Climb and Intimidate.
