Night elves are a group of drow who have left the dark underground for the deep dark forests. Night elves trade their traditional favor of the arcane arts of their drow brethren for natural and divine magics.
Night Elf Racial Traits
Night elves are defined by their class levels—they do not possess racial Hit Dice. All night elves have the following racial traits.
+2 Dexterity, +2 Wisdom, –2 Constitution: Night Elves are nimble and perceptive.
Medium: Night Elves are Medium creatures, and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Night Elves have a base speed of 30 feet.
Darkvision: Night Elves can see in the dark up to 120 feet.
Night Elves Immunities: Night Elves are immune to magic sleep effects and get a +2 racial bonus to saves against enchantment spells.
Keen Senses: Night Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.
Silent Stalker: Night Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Stealth and Survival checks.
Shadow Meld: Night Elves are able to turn invisible while holding still in shadows, while underground or during the night. as soon as a night elf moves or attacks they become visible.
Weapon Familiarity: Night Elves are proficient with the all types of bows, and short swords.
Languages: Night Elves begin play speaking Elven. Night Elves with high Intelligence can choose bonus languages from the following: Aquan, Common, Draconic, Night Elf Hunting Signs, Gnome.
Female night elves tend to prefer being priestess (clerics) and hunters (rangers).
Male night elves tend to prefer being druids and warriors (fighters or barbarians).
Author's Note: I love Warcraft series and have wanted to make this race based on the night elves from Warcraft 3.
