Tanari-Blooded

Tanari-blooded is a selectively bred sub-race of humans designed for the gladiator pits in the city of Boliske, tainting the blood of Humans with that of Demons.

Physical Description: Blood-Fiends, bred to be the champions of the pits, have a slight caustic smell about them, and a reddish tint to their skin. Male or female, they are completely hairless, and are slightly shorter, but much thicker in bone and muscle than humans. Their eyes, except for the white, are solid black. The fingernails are slightly longer and thicker than Humans, but still lack the strength to be claws.

Tanari-Blooded Racial Traits

+2 Strength, +2 Constitution, -2 Wisdom, -2 Charisma: Tanari-blooded are both strong and tough, but their demonic heritage tends them to be impulsive and gruff..

Medium Size: Tanari-blooded are medium sized creatures and have no special bonuses based on size.

Normal Speed:Tanari-blooded have a base speed of 30 feet.

Darkvision: 60 feet.

Fighting Awareness: Tanari-blooded receive Alertness +2 racial bonus to Perception and Sense Motive checks due to the intensity in the pits and always having to be aware of surroundings in order to survive.

Escape: Tanari-blooded receive a +2 racial bonus to Acrobatic checks due to the intensity in the pits and having to find a way to escape from being cornered.

Hardy: Tanari-blooded receive a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against poison, spells, and spell-like abilities.

Demon Blood: Tanari-blooded receive a +2 racial bonus to resist acid, cold, and fire.

Languages: Tanari-blooded begin play speaking Common and Abyssal.

Author's Note: This is a race made for fighting. Fighting in the Gladiator pit to be precise. But I wanted a race with a nice physical bonus and have some darkvision. They are not quite as powerful as Half-Fiends so as not to have the level adjustment.
