Close kin to the satyrs, fauns are a humanoid race that is just this side of being fey. Some say they are the mortal offspring of satyrs and nymphs, or perhaps they were once satyrs who somehow became mortal. The fauns care little for either of these theories; as far as they’re concerned, they are their own people. Not as wild and primal as their satyr cousins, but not as refined and conservative as their human neighbors, the fauns are at home in wilderness or civilization.
Faun Racial Traits
+2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma, -2 Wisdom: Fauns are agile and attractive but are prone to poor decision making.
Medium Size: Fauns are medium sized creatures and have no special bonuses based on size.
Normal Speed: Fauns have a base speed of 30 ft.
Low-light Vision: Fauns can see twice as far as humans in poor lighting.
Disease Resistant: Fauns receive a +2 bonus to saving throws to resist disease.
Faun Magic: Fauns gain a +2 bonus to saving throws to resist enchantment spells or effects. In addition they add a +1 bonus to the saving throw DC of any enchantment spell that they cast.
Acrobatic: Fauns have a + 2 racial bonus to Acrobatics and Climb skill checks.
Languages: Fauns begin play speaking Common and Sylvan. Fauns with high Intelligence scores may choose from the following: Aquan, Auran, Draconic, Dwarven, Elven, Gnomish, Goblin, Ignan, Orc, and Terran.
