Tilen (Dhampir)

This is the half-vampire race from Dias Ex Machina's 3.5 Amethyst updated for Pathfinder.

Tilen Racial Traits

+2 Strength, +2 Constitution, -2 Wisdom: Tilen have unnatural strength and stamina, but their emotions run quick are often get the better of them. When tilen get emotional in any way (as in anger or in passion for example) their vampiric traits emerge. Their eyes glow yellow or white or red depending on the specifics of the character, and their incisors extend. When in this state, the tilen gains a +2 to intimidation, but a -2 to diplomacy.

Reduced Healing: Effects from healing spells, scrolls, potions, and any other healing effects are halved for tilen. Even natural healing is reduced in this way. Tilen can offset this with Blood Drain.

Agile (Ex): Tilen receive a +4 racial bonus to Acrobatics & Stealth skill checks.

Blood Drain (Ex): Tilen can suck blood from a living victim with his fangs by making a successful grapple check. If the tilen pins an enemy, it drains blood, dealing 1 point of damage per character level per round that the grapple is sustained. The tilen is cured of half that amount of damage inflicted. If an ally voluntarily offers himself or herself, the healing rate is 1 to 1, with 1 point of damage inflicted heals 1 point of damage to the tilen. Tilen cannot heal more hit points than their current character level per round, nor can they drain more hit points than the target has. It is not clear why willing targets heal tilen greater than unwilling. Tilen subscribe that as another factor of their blessing. It proves that though partially still cursed, they must depend on the kindness of others. Blood Drain operates independently to the above rule, where healing effects are halved. This effect does not turn the victim into a tilen or a vampire.

Blood Vengeance: Tilen receive a +5 racial bonus to Listen, Sense Motive, Spot and Survival checks when using these skills against all undead and receive a +10 racial bonus to these skills when dealing with vampires specifically (not other tilen). Tilen also receive a +1 bonus to hit and damage rolls against vampires. Tilen are even allowed to roll against identifying a vampire that has shapechanged to its animal form.

Resistances (Ex): Tilen start with Resistance 4 to cold and electricity and the resistance increases by +1 at 3rd level and every three levels thereafter to a maximum of Resistance 10 at 18th level, are immune to all mortal disease, gain a +5 racial bonus against sleep effects and receive a +3 racial bonus to saves from all Necromancy spells.

Stagnant Soul: Tilen show up as undead on detection spells though not actually being undead. Amongst other undead, a tilen can very well be confused for a vampire. Tilen cannot be turned and still read true on alignment detection spells.

Darkvision: Tilen can see in the dark up to 120 feet. Darkvision is black and white only, but it is otherwise like normal sight, and tilen can function just fine with no light at all.

Sunlight Sensitivity: Tilen that are exposed to sunlight reduces their vision to 30 feet and they lose all racial skill bonuses, and suffer a -4 penalty to all perception checks and all ranged attacks.

Languages: Tilen have Common and Elven as their primary languages.
