Energy Wave creates a wave of energy of a type of your choosing (fire, cold, sonic, electricity, acid). The wave originates at your hand and extends outward in a cone shape or line dealing 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 20d6) of the selected energy type. Unlike other spells, the spell uses the normal horizontal template (line or cone), but the vertical height of the wave is limited to 5 ft.
