You create a tiny invisible shield of force to block incoming attacks.

You create a magical invisible filed of force granting you a +1 shield bonus to AC. Since this bonus is considered a force effect it also works against incorporeal touch attacks. In addition, if you are targeted with a magic missile spell while the buckler is in effect, the buckler negates the damage from the first missile that hits you but the spell ends.
