With this spell, the caster may “hear” the echoes of anything moving across the earth in a radius of 100 feet per caster level. One of his ears must be touching solid ground in order for him to hear. Though he won’t be able to tell exactly the kind and number of things moving, rough estimates are possible (so if a group of 50 men are marching nearby, he will hear “a few dozens, human -sized” creatures moving).
