A platform of force appears beneath your feet for a splitsecond, allowing you to lessen falls and make leaps in mid-air.

A platform of force appears beneath your feet - this allows you to jump in mid-air, as if you were standing on solid ground. If you are falling, summoning the platform will make you land as if you had hit the ground (and take falling damage, if appropriate, with the ability to lessen the damage with a successful Acrobatics check). The platform will then immediately disappear and you will resume falling - if you did not take lethal damage from landing on the platform, you are treated as having deliberately jumped. This can be used to reduce a single long fall into two shorter falls.
