Instant Escape
This spell was researched by a wizard with aphephobia who hated the idea that a simple ‘hug’ could prevent him from raining down arcane destruction. With nothing but a simple word and thought, the spell whisks the caster to a safe point where he can punish the impudent brute.

This spell, which can be cast as a grapple is declared, but before the success is determined, transports the caster to any visible point within 30 ft. The caster chooses his arrival orientation while casting. If no unoccupied space exists within range, the spell fails and the grapple is conducted normally.
Author's Note: The easiest way to take a caster of of the fight is to grapple him. Hopefully this little spell will give your wizards a little breathing room.
