Prestidigitations are minor tricks that novice priests and clerics use for practice or enjoyment. Once cast, a prestidigitation spell enables you to perform simple magical effects for 1 hour. The effects are minor and have severe limitations. A prestidigitation can create a small figment of colored light which can take limited shapes such as minimally detailed animals, writing, or just orbs. The figment sheds light equal to a candle, and can change or move with concentration. These can be produced at a rate of 1 1-foot cube per round, though, if not concentrated on, they will only fade after only one round. This spells effects are obviously not real objects, and do not hinder sight or any other in-game mechanic. The effects of the divine prestidigitation spell cannot be used as tools, weapons, or spell components. Finally, divine prestidigitation lacks the power to duplicate any other spell effects.
