Elven War Scimitar

Longer than a scimitar, though not as long as a curve blade, the war scimitar is balanced and deadly in the hands of a skilled combatant.

Type: Exotic One-Handed Melee Weapon

Name Cost Dmg (S) Dmg (M) Critical Range Weight Type Special
Elven War Scimitar

Weapon Finesse

Special
You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with an elven war scimitar sized for you, even though it isn't a light weapon.

Due to its size, a war scimitar is an exotic weapon. A character can use a war scimitar two-handed as a martial weapon.

Author's Note: From a homebrew campaign my friends and I started to make, but never came to fruition. I've decided to post some of the complete ideas that would work outside of that particular setting. This one I'm suprised Paizo didn't come up with, honestly. Comparing the scimitar to the longsword, and the curve blade to the greatsword, there was no bastard sword for the scimitars. So, here it is.
