The fine halfing arts of pipe smoking and slinging are combined in this simple, long stemmed pipe.

The Halfling Slingpipe originated from a traveling scholar named Ambrose Buttertoe. When attacked by goblin raiders, he found that he had misplaced his sling. So, he opted to use his pipe to sling bullets instead by placing the bullets in the pipe's bowl and grasping the stem, using the pipe like a miniature catapult. It saved his life. Later, he carved out new pipes from boar tusks, and after trial and error, perfected the weapon/tool. They are considered simple weapons.
