Recurve Crossbow
The bow of a recurve crossbow is made of a flexible metal that extends beyond the front stock. This allows for greater tension strength of the bow but comes at the cost of greater stress placed on the bow. There is a goat foot in the front to allow greater leverage when cocking the string back.
Type: Simple Ranged Weapon
| Name | Cost | Dmg (S) | Dmg (M) | Critical | Range | Weight | Type |

| Recurve Crossbow | 100 gp | 2d4 | 2d6 | 19-20/x2 | 150 ft. |
13 lb. | Piercing |
A recurve crossbow may be reloaded and fired while prone and requires two hands to fire ( -4 one handed ). A recurve crossbow also requires a full round action to reload. However if the wielder's strength is greater then 16 it can be reloaded as a move equivalent action. Due to the great stress placed on the bow during firing on an attack roll of 1 the bow string breaks and must be restrung to fire again. Restringing requires 5 rounds.
