Flintlocks

Flintlock muskets and pistols are newer personal weapons, based on the much larger cannons. While inaccurate, they are capable of dealing greivous wounds.

Both types of flintlock weapons require a full round action that provokes an attack of opportunity to reload. Rapid reload reduces this to a standard action.

Special: The Far Shot feat can not be used with these weapons.

*At GM's discretion, can be considered Martial weapons if powder arms are more common in the campaign setting.

Author's Note: I'm starting a campaign where powder weapons are available. However, I've never been happy with the rulesets available in any setting, because of the horrible historical inaccuracies. Muskets were very inaccurate. At 100', you had about a 50/50 chance of hitting your target. At 300', the shot would be off by almost 6 feet...

Broadsword breakers appeared in almost as many variety of forms as normal broadswords. The major difference being the uniquely designed cross guard that not only protected the wielders hands, but where specialized in catching and breaking others swords.

During Sundering & Disarm attempts against other swords and swords only; the broadsword breaker gets an additional +2 bonus on the Combat Manuver Bonus for Disarm and Sunder attacks. You do not receive this bonus when defending against Disarm or Sunder attempts.
