Pathfinder_Char_Sheet.ods is an interactive character sheet for Paizo's Pathfinder RPG. Pathfinder is sometimes erroneously referred to as D&D 3.75. While it's derivitive of D20, it has no rights to the D&D name. A D&D 3.5 version of this sheet is also available.
The goal is to go beyond most 'static' character sheets by tracking your character's changing stats (Attack, Damage, Saves, Skill modifiers, etc) as feats, spells and other effects are applied and removed. It also tracks spell and effect durations removes them when they expire.
This can be a great boon if you find all the math involved in the Pathfinder rules distracts from your gaming experience. On the other hand, bringing a laptop to the gaming table might be a greater distraction, so your millage may very.
It is implemented as an Libre Office (formerly Open Office) spreadsheet. You can obtain a free copy of Libre Office or Open Office from the following URLs:
Note: Libre Office is where I do my developement, but so far Open Office still works. I'll try to maintain compatability with either for as long as is practical.
Why Libre/Open Office?
- It's free.
- It is supported on all major operation systems (Linux, Mac, Windows).
- It employs the International standard Open Document Format, so porting to other Spreadsheets should be easier than other proprietary formats.
How do I use it ?
Extract the zip file, then please read Pathfinder_Char_Sheet_Usage.txt
I see some D20/D&D 3.5 classes listed. What's up with that?
These are my trivial conversions of some of my favorite D&D 3.5 classes and spells. If there are official conversions published, the sheet will be adapted to match in a future version.
