The Bismark owl is a very beautiful bird with a myriad of brown and tan feathers. It has white plumage about its ears, which stand up to six inches above its head.

The owls live high in trees around secluded lakes. They do not attack humanoids or their ilk unless prompted by territorial infringement.

An explorer named Bismark discovered these incredible beasts while looking for the end of the north Rys River. He found it and much to his dismay, encroached upon a Bismark’s nest and did not survive the fall.

Since their discovery, Bismark owls have been sought after by assassins and spies for use in their work. One owl can give up to four doses if its saliva is taken. The most difficult part of the task is often reaching the nest. Bismark owls nest in the hollows of very tall trees that are never below forty feet in height. It is a personal challenge among the elite rogue to find a nest and get the dosage from a Bismark without killing it.

If pressed, the shy Bismark owl attacks with a bite from its sharp beak. The saliva from a Bismark is fast acting and causes unconsciousness. Many aspiring rogues have lost their lives in fatal falls from pursuing the valuable owl’s venom.
