From out of the treeling a massive, roaring beast appears, huge claws, vicious fangs, and a pair of terrible looking horns warn of the damage the beast can cause. Covered in thick brown/black fur, you wonder how many saw this as their last vision of life.

Kadel will often try to pick of weaker opponents first, that way he can concentrate on the tougher opponents without worrying about interference. He'll charge in, using the bonus on his bite attack, an on the following round use his claws to try and get off a rend before attampting another bite.

If backed up by Belle and her magic, he'll rely on her dazing targets to give him an easier time, as well as using his higher armor and speed to get out of range of attackers so that Belle can transposition them, putting him back in the fray and letting her fire arrows off from the distance.

Evolutions: Large 4pts., Claws 1pt., Improved Damage (Claws) 1pt., Damage Reduction 3pts., Rend 2pts., Scent 1pt., Magic Attacks 1pt.
Magic Attack: Kadel's claws count as magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.
Rend (Ex): Whenever Kadel makes two successful claw attacks against the same target in 1 round, his claws latch onto the flesh and deal extra damage. This damage is equal to 1½ times the Kadel's Strength modifier (10pts.).
Link (Ex): A summoner and his eidolon share a mental link that allows for communication across any distance (as long as they are on the same plane). This communication is a free action, allowing the summoner to give orders to his eidolon at any time. In addition, magic items interfere with the summoner's connection to his eidolon. As a result, the summoner and his eidolon share magic item slots. For example, if the summoner is wearing a ring, his eidolon can wear no more than one ring. In case of a conflict, the items worn by the summoner remain active, and those used by the eidolon become dormant. The eidolon must posses the appropriate appendages to utilize a magic item.
Share Spells (Ex): The summoner may cast a spell with a target of “you” on his eidolon even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the eidolon's type (outsider). Spells cast in this way must come from the summoner spell list. This ability foes not allow the eidolon to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.
Evasion (Ex): If an eidolon is subjected to an attack that normally allows for a Reflex save for half damage, it takes no damage on a successful saving throw.
Devotion (Ex): An eidolon gains a +4 morale bonus on Will saves against enchantment spells and effects.
Multiattack: An eidolon gains Multiattack as a bonus feat if it has more than three natural attacks and does not already have the feat. If it does not have the requisite three or more natural attacks (or it is reduced to less then three attacks), the eidolon instead gains a second attack with one of its natural weapons, albeit at a -5 penalty. If the eidolon later gains three or more natural attacks, it loses this additional attack and instead gains Multiattack.
Kadel should appear as a separate personality from Belle. While the two are bonded his personality is his own. He isn't nearly as bright as Belle, but is more trusting and a lot more patient and calm... outside of combat anyway.
Kadel is Belle Beaumont's eidolon. Where most summoners shape their eidolon conciously, Belle is a unique case. Growing up in the harsh land she grew to fear the creatures of the forest, and Kadel began to be shaped by this fear. Belle often has him wander the forests around their home, warding off travelers with his appearance and hunting for them.
Author's Note: Kadel isn't really a CR8 on his own. Without Belle he'd probably be closer to CR 6 or CR 5.
