Power, that is what you think about when you see this man. Someone has called for a witch hunter and clearly the Hellknight that has responded has some hidden strength that makes everyone around him uneasy.

Signifer Fielderson casts Fireball on the largest clump of enemies on the first round of combat, then uses his Hellfire ability to attack the strongest looking opponent. He prefers to avoid physical combat if at all possible, instead he acts as ranged support for his allies. If forced into melee combat he will cast True Strike on himself and use his mace to battle his enemies.
Signifer Fielderson will not fight to the death. If more than half his allies or his Bearded Devil companion are killed he will cast Fly and retreat to a safe location. He will do the same if he is reduced to 10 hp or less.

Behind the anonymous helm of a Hellknight, Signifer Fielderson is a bald man with piercing gray eyes and a black goatee. He stands tall and proud with a regal bearing and a gaze that feels as if he is looking into your very soul. He is always accompanied by an extremely muscular half-orc with oddly red skin and dressed in black armor that is cover in spikes. In fact this is his bearded devil companion who has been polymorphed to present a less intimidating apperance.
Panlamin Fielderson was the third son of a minor Chelaxian noble family. He wanted nothing more than to serve his nation, but he was a sickly and weak child and that did not change as he entered young adulthood. One day he was exploring a rarely used wing of his family's home he discovered a book that showed him how to summon devils. Using the knowledge from the book he entered a pact with Dispater to serve the Duke of Hell in exchange for the power to aid his nation. Although he knows that at some point the desires of his master and his nation may conflict, but until that day comes he will continue to serve proudly as a Hellknight of the Order of the Gate.
