Elgar Trask, 3rd Level Human Bandit Leader

Elgar has lived most of his life in the woods, running away from the authorities. He has long greasy hair, with twigs and leaves braided into it. His feral eyes always looking for a weakness. Elgar rarely washes and is usually dressed in filthy overalls studded with leaves to act as a crude camouflage. He has gathered a group of like minded individuals to prey upon weary travelers.

Elgar favors ambushes, he will try to attack from a hidden position using his bow, but aren't afraid of getting up close and personal. He prefers to attack from a flanking position so that he may sneak attack. If he loses more than half his hit points he will try to flee.

Author's Note: Elgar is meant to be a generic bandit or bandit leader, but could easily be used as any kind of thuggish adversary, or with a change of alignment, a trusted ally.
