Miles Cale Skystrider, 5th Level Human Sorcerer

Miles Cale Skystrider is a tall, thin 19 year old young man with wide, gray eyes and swept-back platinum blonde hair. He has an odd affinity for belts - anything that needs to be held onto his person is held on with a belt. His most striking article of clothing is a large, white cloak (held on around the shoulders by a belt), and underneath he wears his leather armor over a sleeveless tunic with some comfortable, loose-fitting pants. Slung over his shoulder is a large greatsword bearing his arcane mark, an impressive symbol for his misunderstanding of what a sorcerer is supposed to do.

TACTICS
"Now, as a sorcerer, I should take point!" Miles completely misunderstands the role of a spellcaster. He will try to protect every other member of his party by virtue of his limited strength, charge headlong into battle, and use his magic to bolster his own offensive capabilities rather than provide support from the sidelines. Though he has the potential to be a devastating striker in a group, above all things, Miles should almost be a liability because of his complete lack of tactical knowledge and his assumption that he is the leader of any group he's in.

PERSONALITY
Miles, or Cale as he variably introduces himself, fancies himself a great hero. However, his complete misunderstanding as to the proper application of his sorcerous abilities have earned him the somewhat unflattering nickname of "Worst Sorcerer Ever" in some circles. Always optimistic, energetic, and naive, Miles always seeks to help others and fight the forces of evil - even if he is somewhat dim.

Author's Note: A good ally to teach your good-aligned party the importance of taking control of combat, or a good foe to amuse your cynical evil-aligned party with misguided antics. Miles Cale Skystrider is a good-natured idiot, and a good reminder that not all NPCs are tactically sound allies.
