DESCRIPTION
Taggart is a thin and wiry man who stands at 5’4” and 140 lbs.  He has dark hair, a dark complexion, and a long face.  He normally wears a goatee across his chin that helps mask a deep red scar.  Taggart’s eyes are always moving and the effect makes many people uncomfortable.  He wears old fashioned leather armor with an odd blue neckerchief.
PERSONALITY
Taggart is talkative, but tends to babble if nervous.  Despite his lack of success in many ventures, he is confident in his abilities.  Taggart is even more affable when in the presence of his closest friend and comrade, Biscuit.  Though he cares for little in life, he would gladly die for his large friend.  Taggart is a natural salesman, though this trait tends to get him into more trouble than success.

BACKGROUND
Like his comrade Biscuit, Taggart began as a member of the city’s constable force.  However, Taggart could not keep his hands off the goods in some homes and he was caught and expelled from the city force.  During his last unfortunate pilfering of gold tapestries, he was sent to the city prison system.

He found himself in a cell with a giant of a man and the two soon became fast friends.  While Taggart was in need of someone to listen and act on his get-rich-quick schemes, Biscuit desired to be led by someone toward a cause.  After a few failed ventures, the two have made a somewhat stable living as collectors of objects and people who are wanted by those with gold to spend.

As a team, Bartholomew and Taggart are much better than before they met.  However, while they do not lack the physical skills to be successful bounty hunters, they have not put together that many intelligent plans.

HOOKS
  1. One of the PC’s has a bounty placed on them from a previous incident. Taggart and Biscuit try to capture the PC and bring him in to their employer. The bounty is good only for bringing in the PC alive.
  2. Biscuit and Taggart see a big payday to bring in a bounty from a member of an undead cult that lives beneath the city. Taggart approaches the party to help them and offers a fair share of the bounty and spoils.
  3. During a drunken bar fight, Biscuit assaults a group of wizards. In the midst of the battle, Biscuit disappears along with the wizards in a flash of red light. Taggart tries to enlist the party spell caster to investigate and help find the fate of his friend.
