Meril wears deerskin shorts and a sleeveless tunic and shoes of the same. She has wild hair the color of flames, and sparkling green eyes. Her daggers are belted at her waist along with her bag of sling stones. She also has a scattering of freckles on her face and arms.
Meril is the embodiment of a free spirit with boundless curiosity. When her grandfather, Gaza, takes her to town, she causes no end of mischief.

Meril is Gaza's granddaughter, and the start of the fourth generation living on their sizable farm.  She has high hopes of becoming an adventurer, and will likely not stay with her family for many more years  because of this goal. She's looked up to by most of the town's children younger than herself, and highly competitive with the town's boys who are her own age, and she's possessed of a courage and strength of spirit that's envied by some of the townsfolk who're more than twice her age.

Author's Note: This character was designed to be a cohort or follower of whatever party that stumbles across her. She's also the granddaughter of Gaza, my first submission.
